Temper's Rising

I never believed other people who say that soon-to-be-weds are accident prone. We've been very careful this past few days, trying to escape the fallacy. But it wasn't me who got hurt, my vehicle got crashed! I felt so sorry for my car...and to think I wasn't even driving, neither in it. WhaaaaaaaaaaaaH!
When I woke up this morning, I slowly went down to take a peek at it and estimate the damage. I just could't bear to take a long look.

Montage of Memoires

3 days to go! Last minute visit to Tropical Blooms for my bouquet suggestion. Ate Matet (Angel Pennaroyo's wifey) was really accomodating and very flexible with the contract we had with them. One problem solved!
After having my hair done with highlights, we proceeded to our Videographers, DVPOST for final viewing and approval of our AVP. Jayson was a little apprehensive about his baby pics and was hoping that the AVP would turn out well. To our satisfaction, it was more than we expected! Our personalities really surfaced with the presentation Nice made for us. Sigh. We really loved it! Can't wait for our guests to see it...
As if we're not tired enough, I made my way to Glorietta for last minute shopping as Jayson went swimming at a nearby hotel. And just when I thought it would end here, Jayson took me to watch their basketball game. Of course they won! But I was really famished by the time the game ended. So, we had our last date as single gals. What a better way to end it but with a cup of coffee.

Mass Offering

I'm on a mission! 4 days before the big day, Jayson and I toured the streets of Tayuman looking for Mass bread (Hostia) and Mass wine. I didn't know that there really is a mass wine! When I asked if the regular wine would do for the offering, the store attendant joked about me getting the priest drunk! Heehee. Funny,so I thought. I'm trying to laugh at my ignorance over these things. Anyway, we didn't buy the wine from the Catholic trade store but from a grocery inside Robinson's Place. Good thing! It's done and over with. clown

Perfect Fit

Jayson had his first fitting today with Michi Calica. He didn't want me to see but I insisted on viewing. We came unprepared with no undershirt, belt and shoes. I was anxious about how his barong would turn out. Surprisingly, we were more than pleased. It was a Perfect Fit! Neatly tailored, the Callado design had some similarities with the beadings of my gown. So much for that...
It's time to pick-up our gowns tomorrow. A curious gal that I am, I asked to see how my detachable train turned out. Again, i was dumbfounded. I loved it! The scuptured bow was precisely how I wanted it. I was skeptical at first because it seems hard to construct. Michi told me how she loved my facial expression when I saw it. She said I was like a child who just opened her present. I did! And it was her. She was the blessing that I got.

Backing out mad

Everybody seem to be backing out! What a crazy time to do that?! One of our Ninangs just informed us today that she won't be able to make it, so does her 2 daughters (which by the way are our flowergirls.) Sooooooo disappointed.
Oh, and the other Ninong...he decided that he doesn't want to join the processional even though he's attending. HUUUUUUUWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAATTTTTT!!!!
It's so hard to comprehend!

Do that!

A few weeks before the BIG day and there's still a lot that needs to be done. Fortunately, Jayson's Baptismal certificate has been corrected already.

Now, we should have our AVP done by DVPost. It's a good thing that the photos from the prenups at the W@W Xmas party are already available. Benz was so kind to burn me the cd just so we can add it to our AVP. Haaaayyyy! It's so hard to choose photos! There's a lot of nostalgia that goes with it.

It's been a long road for us both. We had a lot of history, good, bad, and all things in-between.

Wedding Announcement

I was so excited upon waking up this morning. Knowing that I have waited 2 weeks for the January issue of Manila Bulletin's About Weddings section, I expected that everything is well with the wedding announcement.

Behold! I couldn't stop ranting the whole morning. The picture they chose was in Sepia that I can barely see my face and Jayson had his middle name written instead of his surname. Oh well, there's nothing I can do now. It's beyond my grasp.

On the other hand, we were grateful that we were chosen to be part of this issue. I guess we can't have it all. Posted by Hello
